Coleman is Lancashire-born. She graduated from Arnold School Blackpool, where she scored straight A grades at all A-levels. In discussing her Emmerdale character, Coleman expressed regret for her decision not to go to university. While at school Coleman was part of a company for theatre called In Yer Space with whom she appeared at the Edinburgh Festival in the play Crystal Clear. She was awarded an award for her performance while the show was also well-received. While auditioning for drama school, Coleman landed the part that she played in Jasmine Thomas in Emmerdale in 2005. Coleman was nominated in 2007 for two Awards. In 2007, Coleman was nominated for two awards: in the British Soap Awards as the Best Newcomer, and the National Television Awards as the Most Popular. In 2009 she won nominations in two categories: Best Actress and Sexiest Female. Coleman received a nomination for Best Actress from the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat announced at a Doctor Who press conference on 21 March that Coleman, who had replaced Karen Gillan as the companion of the Doctor following Arthur Darvill left the series will be taking on the role along with Matt Smith. Moffat selected her to play the role as she was the most efficient with Smith and spoke faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Elle has been in the film industry since 1987. She has made a bigger impact on projects for TV than films. Out of all the roles Eva was in TV shows, Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children and the detective Natalia Boa Vista' in CSI Miami are the two which stand out. The actress was nominated two "Daytime Emmy Awards" in the first role while she was also given the opportunities to express her artistic talents. Eva is also an entrepreneur, philanthropist and philanthropist. Eva has three husbands as well as two children from the first.
