Luciana Paoluzzi grew up in Rome and was raised by her parents. Her father was Manlio Paoluzzi, an Italian military officer. Maria Rota Paoluzzi was one of the mistresses of Benito Mussolini. She does not have any known siblings. Luciana was a student at a local high school prior to matriculating into the Scientific Academy of Milan in 1955. Luciana was one of only two females in the class. In the following two years, she began her career as a model However, that was changed after she landed her first role in acting when she was visitng her father's acquaintance in Rome her first role was a small two-line part on the screen in Three Coins in the Fountain and that was the point at which it all began. Her initial husband was Brett Halsey who is also an actor. The couple also made Return to the Peyton Palace in 1960 following their married. Luciana received custody of the children following the divorce. They welcomed a baby boy called Charles who was born in June of 1961. Luciana was an actress as well as producer, was with Tony Athony from 1962 to 1970. Tony Athony had been inspired by Luciana's performance in Green Slime.
